Traditionally, the process of removing phosphorescent streaks (scales) that have adhered to glass or mirrors is very time-consuming, and in many cases, severe adhesion makes it impossible to remove them completely. Electric sanders equipped with diamond pads or cerium pads are used, along with glass polishing agents for the removal process, but occasionally, this can result in scratches on the glass. Additionally, some professionals use strong acids, which can lead to the glass surface becoming etched and cloudy.
